Who we are
FoxyNote is operated by no big deals s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic (IČ: 23362642, DIČ: CZ23362642), with its registered office at Uralská 688/5, Bubeneč, 160 00 Praha 6, Czech Republic ("we", "our", "us").
FoxyNote provides an AI-powered meeting assistant that records, transcribes, and generates notes for your meetings. This policy covers the FoxyNote web application at foxynote.com and the FoxyNote Chrome extension.
Chrome Extension
The FoxyNote Chrome extension:
- Reads your authentication cookie from foxynote.com to verify your login. This cookie is only read, never modified or transmitted to third parties.
- Stores preferences locally using Chrome's storage API: your selected bot template and dismissal state for meeting notifications. This data stays on your device.
- Runs only on meet.google.com to detect active meetings and display the bot invite card. It does not run on any other websites.
- Communicates only with api.foxynote.com to verify your login, fetch your bot templates, and create bot invites.
Data we collect
- Account information: your email address, used for authentication and communication.
- Meeting recordings and transcripts: created when you invite the FoxyNote bot to a meeting. These are stored securely and accessible only to you and your team.
- Usage data: basic analytics to improve our service (pages visited, features used).
Data we do not collect
We do not collect or have access to:
- Your browsing history or activity outside of foxynote.com and meet.google.com
- Personal communications, financial data, or location information
- Meeting content from calls where FoxyNote was not explicitly invited
Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
We process your personal data on the following bases:
- Contract performance: to provide you with the FoxyNote service you signed up for.
- Legitimate interest: to improve our service, prevent fraud, and ensure security.
- Consent: where required, such as for optional analytics or marketing communications.
Data sharing
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to third parties. Your meeting recordings and transcripts are processed using secure infrastructure and are not shared with anyone outside your team.
We may use third-party service providers (cloud hosting, email delivery) that process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
Data storage & security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored using industry-standard encryption. Meeting recordings are stored in secure cloud storage with access restricted to authenticated users.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (recordings, transcripts, notes) will be permanently removed within 30 days.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and applicable Czech and EU law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to processing of your data
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@foxynote.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Office (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.cz).
